Here we are raising a steel beam flush mounted into the ceiling. This created a smooth free flowing ceiling between the loving room, kitchen and dining area. Allowing for a nice open concept with now protruding or visible beams between rooms.
Temporary walls were erected on either side of load bearing wall while columns and footing were installed and beam was raised into place
Ceiling joists were attached to beam and drywalled over straight across.
